Just in the middle of a trip to the UK. I don't come back very often, so this time I am determined to do a bit of shopping and mooching around my old home town, Rugby. Well I now realise that I am have severely underestimated the chances of doing either with the mini-frog in tow! So far I have got to the £ shop (what is that all about then?)then mini-frog spotted the toys! luckily I was only robbed of a quid. In the end I bought nothing of my list and ended up buying some new glasses which I had no intention of doing - but two pairs for 100 quid including the eye test, can't knock it compared to the crap expensive sort of bins you get across the water, so I am glad I went to Specsavers.
I also got a parking ticket - not going to pay it let the robbing bastards bloody well chase me all the way to frogland for 25 quid. Took mini-frog to the town Library, to be honest we have a better lot of books in our 'rural-french-village-in-the-middle-of-nowhere', I could sense his disappointment as the promised 'Big English Tractor Books' failed to materialise, and we had to make do with 'Mummy and Daddy are getting divorced' and 'why has Gordon's mummy got a fat tummy?' Oh well better luck tomorrow.........

Just thought I would drop by, what else is there to do on a Breton summers day? watch the drips? Listen to the silence of the Combine Harvesters stood still in barn? - no chance of going out to play today!
Normally at this time of the year the whole place is buzzing with the drone of the harvest, from the time the dew dries to the time the dew falls, there is little time for anything else. But not today, or this week, or even so far this year. Yes folks, roll up, roll up for another spectacular Breton Summer!
Its started raining and its forgotten to stop!

I have just found this page after a long time - can't remember why I created a blog and then forgot to blog - must have been my pregnancy brain, as I note from the date I was 7 months Pregnant at the time!.
Hope to start again - and rekindle what must have been a desire to BLOG way back then! I also stumbled on the blog of my ex (Hi Matt!) - he also created the page in 2006 and hasn't blogged since - spooky!.
